Meet Pastor Rufus Valencia, Our Youth Pastor   Pastor Rufus Valencia is our Youth Pastor.  Granite City is his hometown, where he and his wife Melissa of nearly 20 years have resided.  Together they have one son, Joseph.  Rufus has been a part of Frontline Fellowship since the very first service that met at the Holiday Inn nearly seven years ago.  Rufus works for a Law Firm in Edwardsville where he manages all aspects of Information Technology for the Firm. Additional Fun Facts About Pastor Rufus: What is your favorite part about doing ministry here at Frontline? We enjoy working with teenagers.  We believe they are the greatest people on earth! What's your favorite worship song?  Why? I really don't have a favorite song.  I enjoy a certain style of music.  I enjoy songs which allow me to worship my GOD, not just sing words about me or some other subject besides God. When I sing, I want to worship the GOD who created everything we see.

Where and how did you meet your wife? We met at church.  We were friends for a few years, started dating and the rest is history! What's your favorite food to splurge on?   This one's easy.  I enjoy eating homemade tacos, but I really enjoy making them for other people to enjoy too. Where is your favorite vacation place? Anywhere Royal Caribbean is sailing.  My family and I love to go on cruises and we believe they are the most relaxing vacation one can take. What's your all time favorite TV show?  Why? I enjoy both House and NCIS.  I like House because he tells it like it is.  I like NCIS because of the computer forensics involved in the show.  I enjoy both because we have family nights when those shows are on TV. If you could play the role of any actor in a current or past television show or movie...which would it be?  Why?   Ferris Bueller of Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) because the guy was a risk taker and he was hilarious.   Life is too short to never take any risks and to not have any fun.
